Nicole Garland Participates in Marist College Play

Nicole Garland, of Bronx, NY, participated in "Thumbelina," which played at Marist College for eight performances in late March.

Garland, a Marist College Junior, performed the role of the Toady Daughter in the play, which tells the story of a girl no bigger than a thumb who is searching for her place in the world. Every year, the Marist College Council on Theatre Arts (MCCTA) produces show for children and invites local elementary schools.

Marist is an independent comprehensive liberal arts college with an enrollment of 4,200 full-time undergraduate students. Founded in 1929, the College offers 43 major fields of undergraduate study and 12 graduate degree programs. Marist is included in the Princeton Review's 2012 guide to the top colleges and universities in the U.S., The Best 376 Colleges.
