Meghan Barbour Named to Communication Honor Society at Marist College

Meghan Barbour, of Newtown, CT, has become a member of Lambda Pi Eta (LPH), the National Communication Association's official honor society at Marist College.

Barbour, a Marist College Senior, joins a worldwide network of active LPH chapters at four-year colleges and universities. Lambda Pi Eta recognizes, fosters, and rewards outstanding scholastic achievement while stimulating interest in the communication discipline. Students must maintain a high grade point average and demonstrate campus involvement to qualify for a nomination.

Marist is an independent comprehensive liberal arts college with an enrollment of 4,200 full-time undergraduate students. Founded in 1929, the College offers 43 major fields of undergraduate study and 12 graduate degree programs.
